We welcome Volunteers:
From its inception, Leonard Cheshire International and Cheshire Homes South Africa have been reliant on the expertise, talents and contributions of their many volunteers.
It would be difficult to adequately acknowledge the debt owed by Cheshire Homes to these people: they were the driving force which resulted in the setting up of the organization. To this day, volunteers are actively involved with Cheshire Homes on many levels, from serving on Committees which are responsible for policy and initiation of new services, to volunteers who interact with residents on a one to one basic, assisting where need dictates.
Using their expertise and experience to teach much needed skills to our residents
They provide friendship to our residents
They assist our residents to take park in leisure and social activities
They escort and drive our residents to church, shopping centres and social functions
They gain work experience for their CV's and College References
And, most importantly, they make a positive contribution to their community!
Why not join our family of volunteers?

Our objectives are aligned with the new B-BBEE guidelines and will support any company's corporate social responsibility programme.
