Members are persons who agree to pay an annual subscription, the amount of which is determined from time to time by the Cheshire Homes to which the member is affiliated, and to abide by the Charter and the Constitution of Cheshire Homes South Africa. Members are entitled to renew their membership, provide that a majority of the members of the service to which they wish to be affiliated, shall, in its discretion, be empowered to refuse membership or renewal of membership.

Admission to membership shall be deemed to constitute agreement by such member to be bound by the Constitution and any amendments lawfully made thereto, and also to abide by the Cheshire Charter.

The membership of any member whose conduct is deemed to be injurious to the interests and objectives of Cheshire Homes may be terminated or suspended by resolution of the Committee to which the members is affiliated. However, before such action shall be effective, the member shall have the right of appeal to have his/her view of the matter heard by the Executive Committee.

A member may resign at any time by the delivery of a written notice to the Secretary.
